I need help in realising and targeting on my career goal with a wholesome approach. In my years of working I might have forgotten or giving a back seat to things in my intellect which needs to be reignited for a better me. I want you to help me explore that.

I am a little confused, I don’t know if I should study or should I go to service based company or should I go to management or should I change my field. Changing my field is also a problem because I will be like a fresher in that field and nobody will pay me in that field. Going to management lot of layoffs will be there, things go bad they are the first person to be targeted.

I am working in an IT services and technology company for last 10 years and last 3 years I am trying to switch from here to another company but I am not getting any calls also. The problem is in my company, 55 yrs is the retirement age, now I am 52 yrs so another 3 years. The last 3 years I am trying for a change. I changed my CV’s updated my skills and also got certified in a new technology in my field.

Basically, I am just confused now about where to go, because I am not a fresher anymore that I can go for higher studies, I am feeling like that now. I cannot go for higher studies so easily. I am quite experienced now. I am already 35, like I don’t know what to do. Which career should I go for, Won’t it be a struggle for me to switch over there? It is ok to start all over again but I am not sure where to go. Like I don’t know what all career paths are available for me right now, which I can think of and go there.
